Most people do not decorate a room in one go. You buy a lamp because the corner is dark. Six months later a rug turns up in a shop you walked into for something else. A year after that, a vase that happens to sit well next to the lamp you already had. The room arrives in pieces, and most of the pieces were bought without a plan.

Avael exists because that goes wrong in a predictable way. Buy from enough different places and you end up with a shelf of things you liked one at a time and a room that does not hold together.

So we keep the range narrow. Everything we sell sits inside a small set of palettes: warm neutrals, clay, off white, charcoal, natural fibre. A cushion bought in March should still work with a vase bought in November. That is the whole idea, and it is why we pass on a lot of pieces that are perfectly nice on their own.

What we sell

Ceramics and vases, cushions and throws, wall art and prints, mirrors, lighting, candles and holders, baskets and storage. Decorative things mostly, with a bias toward pieces that also do a job.

How we describe things

Every listing states the material, the finish and the measurements of the piece itself rather than the numbers off a supplier sheet. Where something is food safe or watertight, we say so. Where it is decorative only, we say that too.

Glazes and natural fibres vary between batches. A reactive glaze pools differently on every piece, and a woven basket will never match its photograph thread for thread. We would rather tell you that now than have it arrive as a surprise.

How it reaches you

Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum and nothing added at checkout. Orders leave our fulfilment partner within one to two business days and arrive in seven to twelve, with tracking sent as soon as the parcel moves. That is slower than a warehouse down the road. It is also the real number rather than an optimistic one.

You have 30 days from delivery to send anything back, unused and in its original packaging, for any reason at all. Not liking how it looks in the room counts. Decor is hard to judge on a screen, so we would rather take the return than argue about it.
